Hi loves and fellow foodies

I’ve been MIA for the last couple of months but I’m ready for my revival.

It has been a beautiful past weekend in Zurich with lovely people and a weather so perfect you could almost think we’re somewhere more south. There is a thing about this city I live in. It happens not to be my favorite city in the world, to express it mildly. But Zurich gets very wonderful in summer (that’s those 7 days a year when the sun is shining) and this weekend was especially astonishing since we celebrated the 3rd Street Food Festival and the weather couldn’t have been better for this event.

With over 100 food stands it was a true rah-rah rally but also bittersweet. Imagine yourself standing there, amidst this crowd, trying to decide what to eat when all you really wanna do is stick your face in everything you see.

But I pulled myself together and went for a “Surf & Turf Burger” and decided to rather turf than surf.  Call me a wimp but I didn’t wanna take the risk and have seafood at a Street Food Festival, therefore I feel super healthy now so thanks to my sanity.

The burger went amazing with some “Dutch Fries” from another stand and we finished the night with some “Churros”.

This festival is some piece of news in this sometimes gloomy city and I can’t wait for the next one!

Have a beautiful day.

My first time in Paris, I finally made it. What a beautiful and flawless city it is. Eiffel Tower, L’Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Musée du Louvre and not to forget the most beautiful Shopping Mall “Lafayette” where we spent way too much time and delighted in the beautiful christmas tree that almost reached the very top of the building. And there may or may not have been some champagne involved.

I’ve seen so much in just two days, I can’t imagine what else this city has to offer. But for now I shall be fascinated by the beauty of Paris and flustered for the next trip.

About punctuation

DSC_2062_uneditedDSC_2082_uneditedI love the color grey on clothes but it can quickly look dull and not-so-exciting and we don’t want that do we. I believe in puncuating a look with a bright and bold color. Add some color with a flashy pair of heels or even just a lively lipstick. Go for a pink or orange lip and let it do the magic.

Hi lovlies

This wasn’t my first time at Rivabella Restaurant and I loved it since the very first time I came here. The location in West Hollywood is super amazing (right above Sunset Strip and minutes away from Bootsy Bellows Nightclub where you can go rub shoulders with Ed Westwick real quick after dinner).

What really makes this place so unique is the interior decoration. It’s an Italian restaurant with a Tuscan flair, beautiful trees and lots of green surroundings inside. You’ll feel like sitting in an conservatory at your house in Italy. This must be how George Clooney feels. I get it now, George.

The Antipasti were amazing and really did it more for me than the Entrees. I love it here best over lunch when you can see all the details of the Restaurant. I wanna be honest, I love coming to Rivabella not so much for the food but for the atmosphere because it gives you such a calm and peaceful feeling. I’d call it “Girl meets Provence”, if that makes any sense!

Have a beautiful day! xx

News Cafe – Miami Beach

News Cafe – Miami Beach

Good morning everyone!

It sure is a good morning when you start it off at News Cafe in Miami. I’ve been here for the first time this year so there’s not so much to say yet, but still a lot on my heart. We thought we were the only ones with the great hint to come here but once we got there, we realised it’s pretty popular! It was so busy and we still got a table right away. Those are the kind of places I like. Don’t let me wait for my food, I do not appreciate it.

We had so much food just because I really needed to try as much as I could in one day (and it was our last day, sigh).

I will make this my “everyday-miami-breakfast-place”. I had to order everything I could because it all sounded so delicious. But even my stomach has its limits, so eventually I stopped.

Resumed: GREAT food, beautiful ocean view, nice staff and lovely establishment in general.

Where do I start? Eggs Benedict with Ham and Tomato and Potato cubes, Quiche Lorraine with a Caesar Salad, side of Sausages (when I see them on a menu, I order them, invariably and everywhere, nothing can stop me) and Cajun Fries. YUM EVERYTHING! I miss this quiche, so much. So so good!

Hey honeybuns it’s been a while! I’m back with something really good for my fellow foodies. And my next few posts will continue to be delicious. The above-noted quote is by John Walters and if you know me, it really really applies. Sometimes I catch me and my friends just talking about food for an hour and it’s the most passionate conversation you’ll ever hear.

So we were in London last week and hit up the amazing Hakkasan Restaurant at Hanway Place. Oh my, it was good! It was my first time ever at Hakkasan but it won’t be my last. The restaurant is very trendy and vibrant and the staff was super nice. We loved it so much that we ate everything up in 10 minutes. Someone teach us how to enjoy! Nevertheless, I took pictures like I always do so I could share this delushhh with you guys. Enjoy!

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend

Today I really need to talk about a huge obsession, fascination and admiration of mine. It’s Jewelry. And to be specific, it’s Jacquie Aiche‘s Jewelry. This woman is just incredible. Based in Los Angeles, CA, Jacquie brought a whole new idea of jewelry into this world and we all need to thank her. The rings, the body chains, the necklaces, or simply everything she designs is from another planet. I’m so in LOVE!

Jacquie was raised in a family with two cultural influences. Her father is Egyptian and her mother is American Indian, and you can tell the influence by her designs. Ancient designs such as goddesses and amulets and with natural minerals and gemstones, turquoise and fossils. Simply beautiful.

Her Los Angeles Showroom is by appointment only but luckily, you can shop everything online on http://www.jacquieaiche.com.

Now watch and marvel:
