Hi loves

I’ve seen so many celebs walk into this place so I wanted to see for myself how good it really is and if it’s worth the hype. So let me tell you all, the hype is real! It’s a rather small Cafe and not too crowded plus you’ll get a table right away. It’s such a lovely and charming place to just sit and have breakfast or coffee or to go to town on whatever you want (the menu has quite the impressive selection!). We loved it a lot so we kept coming back.

The food is GREAT and the prices are very appropriate. I really recommend it guys. Oh and does anyone remember Jasper from “The Holiday”? Yeah no that’s what I thought, but we saw him here so that makes this place kinda officially cool because the movie is awesome!

Have a beautiful day. X

Hello loves

One of the first days out in Los Angeles and I already got a sunburn! What should I say, I got it from my mama, I shall not be mad. At least I got some color.

Pre-Dinner hangout on our beautiful terrace in ‘da Hills wearing a white ZARA crop top with a blue ZARA skirt which reminded me of last seasons burberry skirts, a whole lot cheaper of course. The shoes are strappy silver watersnake Christian Louboutin’s.

Hair blowout by DryBar in West Hollywood. I LOVE them. They’re located on Sunset Blvd. and have a flat fee of $40 for any blowout style, yay! I’m very lazy with my hair (especially when on vacation) so this is the perfect place.

My very long but beautiful nails done by “esNAIL” on Melrose (I love them, too!). But I quickly realised I can’t function with this nail length anymore. I guess “I’m too old for this shit.”

Have the most beautiful day. xX

Ahi Tuna Tartar
Sushi grade tuna with avocado and kimchee lime sauce. And it all comes with artisane sesame chips. The interesting part is this berry though. You eat it afterwards, it neutralizes the taste of fish. I really don’t know the name of this berry, so please let me know if you do!

I’m so late with this post but still it needs to happen and it really doesn’t matter that Miami was 2 months ago, I’m still dreaming about it.

I’m dedicating todays post to another first for me in Miami. Firstly, I’ve had the second best tuna tartar in my life at this place! (The best was in Mallorca and I won’t ever forget it because you just can not outdo it, I dare you.)

Bâoli officially made it on my favorite restaurant list and that’s no easy accomplishment. If there’s anything I’m good at, it’s all things food. This one truly deserves a place on my list. Not only is the food delicious but it’s just a stunning restaurant and establishment in general. You can sit outside and feel like you’re in a petite jungle and I really enjoyed this piece of faux nature 🙂

News Cafe – Miami Beach

Good morning everyone!

It sure is a good morning when you start it off at News Cafe in Miami. I’ve been here for the first time this year so there’s not so much to say yet, but still a lot on my heart. We thought we were the only ones with the great hint to come here but once we got there, we realised it’s pretty popular! It was so busy and we still got a table right away. Those are the kind of places I like. Don’t let me wait for my food, I do not appreciate it.

We had so much food just because I really needed to try as much as I could in one day (and it was our last day, sigh).

I will make this my “everyday-miami-breakfast-place”. I had to order everything I could because it all sounded so delicious. But even my stomach has its limits, so eventually I stopped.

Resumed: GREAT food, beautiful ocean view, nice staff and lovely establishment in general.

Where do I start? Eggs Benedict with Ham and Tomato and Potato cubes, Quiche Lorraine with a Caesar Salad, side of Sausages (when I see them on a menu, I order them, invariably and everywhere, nothing can stop me) and Cajun Fries. YUM EVERYTHING! I miss this quiche, so much. So so good!

ZUMA Miami

ZUMA Miami

Hi my lovelies

I know it’s been a while but I’m back!! And I’m back with really good stuff for you guys. I was in Miami for the last week of february and tried some new amazing restaurants. I need to share all the delight with you but for today I’m starting off with everything delicious we had at ZUMA. This restaurant killed it, it was unreal I’m telling you. It’s a style of modern japanese cuisine but not like everything you’ve had before. It’s not really a silent place to have a romantic first dinner since it’s pretty vibrant and noisy (exactly the way I like it) but perfect for dinner with friends. Located on 270 Biscayne Blvd Way, Miami, FL 33131 (located in the EPIC hotel), this place is a MUST. So whenever you get the chance to go, you won’t be sorry.

Yummy Sushi (Don’t remember their names, sorry! But I bet they were beautiful..)

Pretty much the most amazing asparagus

Spicy Beef Tenderloin with sesame, red chili and sweet soy. One of the best beefs I’ve ever had, yes I’d go that far.

Yuzu key lime pie, with sesame coconut tuile. SO GOOD. I love everything Lime-ey so this was amazing.

HALLOWEEN – Eat, drink and be scary..

Ahh where do I start when it comes to talking about Halloween? It’s going to be a long post. Halloween, it’s the best holiday of the year, competing reeeally closely with Christmas. I don’t have many favorite places in the world but this right here is one. Me in the middle of many many beautiful orange pumpkins at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, LA. I can’t wait to live in the USA since we people here in Switzerland don’t even really celebrate Halloween. I mean REALLY celebrate and appreciate it, how mankind should.

What’s cooler then Universal Studios’s Halloween Horror Nights? Or LA’s Haunted Hayride? The answer is nothing, guys, nothing is cooler.

And there’s this one thing I love more then fashion, probably more then anything in the world. It’s FOOD. Festive and traditional as I am, I want to share some Halloween recipes with you guys, or actually just the pictures of them and you can find everything on this lovely website http://www.foodnetwork.com/halloween/package/index.html 🙂

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend

Today I really need to talk about a huge obsession, fascination and admiration of mine. It’s Jewelry. And to be specific, it’s Jacquie Aiche‘s Jewelry. This woman is just incredible. Based in Los Angeles, CA, Jacquie brought a whole new idea of jewelry into this world and we all need to thank her. The rings, the body chains, the necklaces, or simply everything she designs is from another planet. I’m so in LOVE!

Jacquie was raised in a family with two cultural influences. Her father is Egyptian and her mother is American Indian, and you can tell the influence by her designs. Ancient designs such as goddesses and amulets and with natural minerals and gemstones, turquoise and fossils. Simply beautiful.

Her Los Angeles Showroom is by appointment only but luckily, you can shop everything online on http://www.jacquieaiche.com.

Now watch and marvel:
