Hi loves and fellow foodies

I’ve been MIA for the last couple of months but I’m ready for my revival.

It has been a beautiful past weekend in Zurich with lovely people and a weather so perfect you could almost think we’re somewhere more south. There is a thing about this city I live in. It happens not to be my favorite city in the world, to express it mildly. But Zurich gets very wonderful in summer (that’s those 7 days a year when the sun is shining) and this weekend was especially astonishing since we celebrated the 3rd Street Food Festival and the weather couldn’t have been better for this event.

With over 100 food stands it was a true rah-rah rally but also bittersweet. Imagine yourself standing there, amidst this crowd, trying to decide what to eat when all you really wanna do is stick your face in everything you see.

But I pulled myself together and went for a “Surf & Turf Burger” and decided to rather turf than surf.  Call me a wimp but I didn’t wanna take the risk and have seafood at a Street Food Festival, therefore I feel super healthy now so thanks to my sanity.

The burger went amazing with some “Dutch Fries” from another stand and we finished the night with some “Churros”.

This festival is some piece of news in this sometimes gloomy city and I can’t wait for the next one!

Have a beautiful day.

xx

You have no clue how much crap I had to take for these shoes…from my very own friends. But it’s alright, they can, because I love them and because I know deep inside they feel the same way about these shoes as me. They’re a lot, I get that. And that’s probably why I fell in love with them immediately when I first saw them on Rihanna.  They will step the most simple outfit up a notch and will look great with denim shorts and a white sweater or shirt. You can wear them with an all black outfit or dress and you’ll still stand out from the crowd. That’s what I love about them, even with the most boring and thoughtless outfit, they’ll save your night..or day, because why not show them off at daylight?

About punctuation

DSC_2062_uneditedDSC_2082_uneditedI love the color grey on clothes but it can quickly look dull and not-so-exciting and we don’t want that do we. I believe in puncuating a look with a bright and bold color. Add some color with a flashy pair of heels or even just a lively lipstick. Go for a pink or orange lip and let it do the magic.

Have a lovely day!

Le Pain Quotidien – tous les jours, toute la journée

Le Pain Quotidien – tous les jours, toute la journée

Hello loves,

I guess I’m kinda late to the party but hey, I arrived! So many of you will probably be familiar with “Le Pain Quotidien” and now, I am too. While being very hungry in london we trotted down Oxford Street looking for a place to have a nice breakfast when we spotted this place in a little alley. Le Pain Quotidien.

I really loved it! Such a cozy athmosphere, they have their own products (honey, jam, cookbooks, everything amazing!), it’s organic-based and they have options for vegans (not that I care about that but you know, it’s still nice). I chose a fabulous brunch called “The Angler” and it was delicious! We went there three times in five days, now you do the math. I really recommend this place so if you ever happen to walk by, give it a try!

FYI: There’s a “Le Pain Quotidien” in Zurich! –> Römerhofplatz 5, 8032 Zürich

…and then came NARS

I love make-up (which girl doesn’t?) and I especially love to apply lipstick. I was really into YSL Lipsticks (for example the “Rouge Pur Couture”) since they have amazing Red Colors. BUT then something else came into my life.. NARS. I’m obsessed with those Lipsticks. Since NARS is an american product and I live in Zurich, there is no NARS store here which makes my trips to the USA even more exciting. I go crazy with those lipsticks, you’ll see why. The most beautiful bright colors, easy to apply (for example the Satin Pencil, which I love the most) and they’re affordable (Prices go from $25-$30).
